Simple Joys for our Girls and Boys Many might find our Christmas celebration in India a little “bare” or “simple” compared to many in America. Yet, I have not found many celebrations filled with as much joy as found in our orphanages. Joy is found in Jesus, and He available to both rich and poor. Isn’t that a great blessing?!!! Soon we will send about $50 for each child and staff member. This buys each child a set of school clothes, a small gift, and warm clothing for the winter ahead. Afterwards all enjoy a large Christmas feast, singing, sharing and a children’s nativity play. We spend about $8,000 for this event.
