The Gift IS Jesus How wonderful and how marvelous is the love of God. In our desperate condition, imprisoned by sin and destined for eternal separation from Him, God did not forget or abandon us. His love reached out to us in our misery, and was completely expressed in the gift of His son Jesus Christ. Most gifts we receive each year are soon lost, broken or outdated. Even those that remain slowly decay. It is the way of this world. But there is one gift that will never fade, never break, cannot be stolen and will be eternally valuable. It is God’s gift to us—Jesus. Of all the gifts you receive this year, I pray that you experience a greater awareness of how MUCH He loves you! Yes, you. No matter your state or circumstances, He is still reaching out in love to you—just as He did 2,000 years ago. Christmas is the promise of the sure hope we have that though we die, we shall live again. To understand Christmas is to comprehend the great love He poured out on each of us—-at His own ultimate cost. Jesus is giving you Himself this year. Why not make it a priority to draw closer to Him as you celebrate His birth? Our orphans are getting ready for their Christmas celebration. We try to send $8,000 each year for our 200 children through your kindness and generosity. Thank you for making this possible. You have stood in the gap and have become their parents. Only God can adequately repay you for your kindness. May His presence fill your homes and lives. May you sense His presence with you. A Blessed Christmas to each of you and your loved ones!
