The Beginnings of MOJ's Fellowship Hall and Bible College Has God planted a dream in your heart? If it is from the Lord, there is one thing that is sure. He will take you through a long and winding journey of the heart before you see that dream come to life. He must prepare the heart of His child, before He fulfills the dream he planted in their heart long ago. Many years ago, God gave me a dream that one day He would help me to bring all of our ministries, orphanages and staff into one place. By the generosity of friends of Mission of Joy, we have been able to purchase 3/4 of an acre of land in Mangalagiri this past month. The cost of land has risen beyond imagination and this piece of land cost $166,000. But, it is right next to a paved road leading to the main highway which makes it very valuable. In the next months, we will be building a retaining wall around the property to keep it safe. In the late fall, we will begin construction on the Christian Fellowship Hall and Bible College God has put into our hearts. Because of the fall of the dollar in the past months, we are praying for an additional $25,000 to finish this project. God has done a mighty thing through very sacrificial believers who put the poor ahead of their own financial security. In this region, Christians have no place to meet, and are forbidden to enter Hindu meeting halls. There are nearly 3,000 believers in the city of Mangalgiri. When the day comes to dedicate and open this facility, there will be great rejoicing among the believers here. Though you live 10,000 miles away, your love is being felt by your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ—many who live on a dollar a day. Your help speaks volumes about the love within “the body of Christ.” Thank you for compassionately extending your love to them. May He richly reward you!
