Widows Flock to Cities to Die CNN this month, reported on a situation in India we have been long familiar with. Hindu widows are shunned in society, forced to shave their heads and wear white. Nearly 33 million widows flock to the cities to beg for daily food or perish. Christian widows are generally outcasts even from their family. MOJ continues to serve the needs of Christian widows, who pray for our safety and work around the clock while we provide for their physical needs.
