School Starts in India in July This month we want to share our excitement about all the work God has been doing among his people in India this past winter and spring. The Spirit of God is moving mightily among people and we rejoice to see His power to bring light into the darkness. Many thousands have heard the Gospel for the very first time (see page 2). We have opened new wells, begun a weekly radio broadcast for the small cost of $25 per week, and we are seeing our pastors begin to grow through the annual bible training we’ve established. As our children in the US rejoice at the end of school, children in India are preparing to return to school. They go because the weather begins to turn cooler and the rainy season begins. As our orphans return to school, we need to purchase their school supplies. We distribute two school uniforms, a new pair of sandals, textbooks, school supplies and a book bag. For each child the cost is a little more than $50. Since we have about 200 children, you can see the cost is nearly $10,000. Would you consider helping us meet this very current and important need? Please pray that we will help our children feel God’s love as we prepare them to return to school. Can we encourage you to send us any prayer requests that you may have? We consider it a joy and privilege to pray for all the people who send their requests. We have seen God do many mighty miracles over the past 17 years. We want to especially thank all of you who so faithfully and generously support our work among those called “untouchables” in India. If Jesus was willing to touch a leper, how can we not reach out and touch these who are most rejected. Only God will be able to adequately reward you for your kindness when you reach the streets of Heaven. May the Lord bless your summer mightily!
