Bringing Victory to the Victimized Dear Friends of Mission of Joy—Greetings to you in Jesus Name! Since we shared our story of child-trafficking in Eastern India, we have received an abundance of correspondence from supporters asking how they can help. Because of this, we are sending a special mailing in the next few weeks with a gift for each of you. In it, you will see what your love and sacrifice mean to these girls. We would love to build a facility to house and train 100 girls who have been victims of this terrible crime. We also would like to provide each girl with a sewing machine as they leave us to start a self-supporting business of their own. We rarely ever send additional mailings to our supporters as those who have been receiving our newsletters for the past 18 years can attest But we know that when God moves His people’s hearts, we want to offer a constructive way you can make a difference. At present, we took 20 girls off of the streets and started this work on a shoestring. Now we will see what God and God’s people desire to do. This month, we share with you our work among handicapped orphans. In India, many ministries and humanitarian efforts will not accept these children. We highlight a few of these children to share what Mission of Joy is doing to aid them. Have you ever wondered what our welcome in Heaven might be like? Let me give you a brief taste as I share the welcomes we receive from the orphans when we arrive. How great it will be when the Lord himself welcomes each of us home. Oh, How I long for that day! From the depths of my heart, I have been touched by your outpouring of support for our work—especially among victimized children. May God help us to do more than we think is within our grasp. May God help us turn the tide of this great and present evil and deliver children from the darkness into the light. We are small compared to the need; but when has that ever stopped God? With His help, we can and will prevail!
