Quenching the Pain of Fire Accident Victims When a fire breaks out in a poor village it is incredibly destructive. Houses with thatched roofs and bamboo walls go up like dry kindling. There is no phone available to call a fire truck. Indeed, were a phone available there would be no fire department to call. In the wake of such disasters there is no insurance or government programs to assist homeless and hungry accident victims. They are left to the kindness of strangers if they are able to assist them. Sadly, there are few of those. Mission of Joy has stepped in and brought clothing, cooking utensils and food to this village where we have established a church. Hundreds of people stood in line patiently waiting to receive whatever was offered. None of them may know you personally, but they have experienced your love. Through you, we brought them God’s love in tangible form. Thank you for making this mission of mercy and ministry of JOY possible!
