Christmas Letters of Love from Our Little Ones This letter comes from one of our mentally disabled orphans. Beloved Aunt and Uncle, I am studying in this orphanage and have a special tutor. He speaks in English every day and I am very interested in learning. I have a good bed to sleep in at night and last week we had cold winter winds. I have a wool blanket which protects me from the winter. I pray for you. Your loving daughter. Monika Kukkamalla (photo far right)
Dear Beloved Aunt and Uncle, I am sending my heartiest Christmas greetings to you in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I am studying in the 6th class and we play many sports here in the orphanage in the late day and in the evening. Ever day, I play with the other children after we go to school from 9am to 4pm. I am getting good marks on my English exams. I am happy to be your sponsor child and I am praying for you every day. I am asking God to bless you with much health and happiness. I want to wish you a happy Christmas and a New Year. I would be happy to receive a gift from you this year. Your loving son, Ramlu Kanimalla
Beloved Aunt and Uncle, I am so thankful to you because of your regular support. You comforted me with much love when I was found on the streets. My father and mother had died, and there was nobody to care for me. You took me in. In this bad situation, you loved me and took me in as your own child.. Now I have all things I need to live. I close with my prayers for you. Your loving daughter, Sravani
Beloved Aunt and Uncle, I am in the 3rd class of school, and I love playing on the slider on the playground. In the early morning, I eat lemon rice, which I love. For several years, I have studied hard. I like singing hymns and playing tennis ball when it is play time. I know you are providing all my support to allow me to be here. I am your daughter, Vanukuri Nagaladli
Beloved Aunt and Uncle, I am sending my Christmas greetings to you. I study hard and the staff gives me biscuits {cookies} and chocolates. I eat chocolates with much happiness. I remember your trip to visit us, because you gave candy to us. That is so sweet, I am very happy to eat candy. I am very happy in this orphanage and have all I need for my daily life. I drew a picture for you. I am your loving son, Revanth Kumar
Beloved Aunt and Uncle, I am very happy to write this letter on this special eve. I love to eat the food in this orphanage. I did not have food like this ever before in my life. I have breakfast with lemon rice and bread and eggs. For lunch we have rice and vegetables. In the night time we have a third meal and get rice and chicken and sometimes other special treats like candies and chocolates. Our director provides us with school uniforms and educational materials. I am very content here in these facilities. I drew you a picture this year to show you my happiness. I am your loving Yamuna Gathram
